We had several Murphy bed companies come into our home and present proposals and we accepted the proposal from More Space Place. We were told the design/installation process would take six weeks, and six weeks to the day from the order, the crew arrived to install the bed. They came in with great attitudes, completed the installation in several hours and left the room in pristine condition. The work was just superb and we couldn’t be more pleased with this elegant improvement to the space.

We are very happy with both the service we received as well as the quality of the bed and closet doors we purchased!! First of all, Robert was very attentive, available, and helpful during the pre-sales process. He stepped us through all of our options and provided valuable insights and recommendations. When we made a decision, he was also very dependable throughout the build and pre-delivery coordination period. We settled on a delivery date and it was met exactly as planned! During delivery and install the team was prompt, professional, and courteous. The timelines for delivery were met and the installation went perfectly. My cabinetry looks fantastic! I had a Murphy bed with cabinets on both sides installed on one wall in my guest/art room. Working with Robert to get my layout just right was the start of an awesome experience with the company. The installers did a wonderful job and were very courteous and hard working. I couldn’t believe they finished in 4 hours! This is my second wall unit with Murphy bed from More Space Place and I have recommended them to many people and they have also been very happy with the company.

For three weeks, I had been sleeping on the floor because the Murphy bed I had bought secondhand was damaged during a move and I couldn’t get it open. I called company after company looking for help, but because I hadn’t purchased the bed from them, no one could help me. Then I called More Space Place in Chantilly and found Draz. He happened to be nearby and simply said, “Let me stop by.” He figured out how to get my bed open and functioning again and explained what I needed to have repaired. That night, I slept so very soundly in my own bed for the first time in three weeks! What really struck me was how kind and helpful Draz was. He didn’t have to help me. He just did. If anyone ever asks me where they should buy a Murphy bed, I know exactly who I’ll recommend. I won’t remember all the companies that couldn’t help me. I’ll remember Draz, who did.

I have a tiny old townhouse and the queen bed took over the basement. The owner came out and we came up with a perfect plan. A queen sized Murphy bed with some storage underneath - couch when closed, and matching the portion of the pottery barn wallunit I wanted to keep. Equally important, the guys who came in to install were skilled craftsmen. They scribed to fit the floor molding (old house it was cement), and installed molding on top to match perfectly. The whole process was great!

I have been working with More Space Place for at least 8 years now, as a general contractor and real estate investor counting on such a wonderful resource is key for a well complimented project, Rob the owner and a great person to deal with has done all kind of custom work for me and my projects, from Murphy beds, to custom closets to office custom furniture you name it, all right on the clock, top notch quality and on budget, a great thing for this company is that he takes the time to visit the site, secure correct measurements and deliver a great 3D rendering that tells me and my clients exactly what we are going to get. i would recommend this company with my eyes close and with all the certainties that he would never let anyone down

I highly recommend More Space Place for any furniture installation you may need. Originally the build for my home had issues, but Rob took care of them. It's easy to give a business a five star review if they do everything right from the beginning, but it shows character and class when things go wrong and they fix it on their own dime. If you hire Rob, believe me that he will do what it takes to make things right. More Space Place built a murphy bed and desk custom fixture into our downstairs office for my wife to remote work from. During installation part of the baseboard in my home was removed and this led to a moisture and mold issue in one specific part of the build. The build team was not personally responsible for the issue, it was more of an accident in how things were put together, but Rob honored the warranty over a year later anyway. His team was incredibly professional during the repair and replacement. Anyone thinking about a custom furniture build from More Space Place should pull the trigger. I cannot speak highly enough of Rob and his team for delivering everything I asked after an initial poor review. If I could give this review six stars, I would, because they earned it.

These guys are amazing. I was nervous at first because there weren't a ton of reviews, most of the reviews were old, and I wasn't sure if they work in Montgomery County. But they're the best. If you go to the show room you can see the quality of the work they do and the options. Rob came out and measured and was EXTREMELY patient while we tinkered with all of the design choices. His suggestions were really helpful and we got a murphy bed and built in cabinets. It is really high quality. If you look at Rob's ipad you can see they do a ton of work and have lots more options than you would see on their website. Highly recommend!

I would give 10 stars if possible. Robert and his team recently installed closets, pantry, cabinet modifications, and a murphy bed wall unit in my new townhome. The design process was painless. Robert was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. The craftsmanship is of the highest quality. The installation team were diligent, efficient, hardworking, knowledgeable, and left everything clean! It was installed on the date agreed upon and the price was more than reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for customized cabinetry of any kind.

I highly recommend this company! Robert (the owner) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative about custom murphy bed options. He did a home visit first to get an idea of what we needed/wanted, our design aesthetic, and measurements of the space. Then we met at his store in Chantilly for a demo of the different product options and designs (there are many ways to customize!). The installation team arrived on time and were courteous, professional, respectful of our home, and did an amazing install job. The final product is beautiful, creative, and perfect for what we wanted! Don’t buy a murphy bed online - who wants to put together such a large piece of furniture anyways, that could potentially be cheap and fall apart? Definitely work with Robert and his team. We look forward to many, many years of use and showing off our fantastic murphy bed!

All you'd hope for and more From the very beginning of our project Rob (designer/owner) was fully engaged. We came to him with a room/space problem and he came up with much better design ideas than we had went. He understands design, function and color. He helped enormously when it was time to choose materials. The unit (actually lots of pieces put together) is solidly built. His installers did a fantastic job. We love our new space and how it's working. Rob also came in much less expensive than other Murphy bed places we had spoken to initially. We couldn't be happier.
